PERSONAL DETAILS
Radek started his part time photographic career in 1996 in Czech Republic, working as a photojournalist for various magazines and newspapers. By the 1998 he decided to move to London, where after short brake in his photographic work he began shooting weddings in 2000 while finishing his Degree in Photography & Digital Imaging.
With his roots firmly set in a documentary and photojournalism influenced by likes of Cartier-Bresson, Koudelka and Salgado and strong believe in expressive properties of Black & White he offers a different coverage to ones of most other photographers.
He had been contacted by several clients disillusioned with standards of contemporary wedding photographers, who commented on the fact than until they viewed Radek's photographs they were convinced they wouldn't find anyone who could capture their wedding in a way which would be worth paying for.
Radek's style is more relax and informal than that of other photographers and he prefers to blend in, observe the wedding and unobtrusively capture the moments as they unfold instead of arranging and directing the stage. This approach was hailed by many happy customers who were thrilled by the photos they received mentioning they weren't aware at all of them being taken.
